This weekend was a packed weekend. However, the most fun I had was on Sunday, outside the New York City Clerks office. I was lucky enough to witness, with many other fellow New Yorkers, true love at it's best.
Outside in the 90+ degree weather, many of us stood cheering and chanting for the newly married couples who were the first of many to seal their love with a kiss and signature on a long overdue wedding licence.
It amazed me how nobody was even the least bit bothered by the temperature or humidity and how both straight and gay New Yorkers were standing side by side cheering.....with goosebumps.
I am proud have personally met Gov. Cuomo and would love the opportunity to meet him again and show him some of these pictures of true love; true love; that he was able to help recognize, and move the US forward in equality for all.
